Super Easy Baked Banana Recipes
for Kids





Baked banana recipes for kids - yummy!. Learning to bake has never been so fun and easy. Engage your kids with these delicious, healthy baked banana recipes and let them discover the wonderful world of playing “chef”.


Baked Banana Puffs

Servings: 4 banana puffs
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Ready in: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
4 bananas, peeled
1 sheet puff pastry, cut into strips to wrap the bananas
2 tablespoons of granulated sugar + 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, mixed
3 tablespoons milk, for brushing
Ice-cream to serve

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425°F/220°C.
2. Wrap a strip of puff pastry firmly around the banana until it is fully covered. Repeat with the rest of bananas.
3. Brush the pastry-wrapped bananas with milk, and then roll it in the cinnamon sugar mix.
4. Place the pastry-wrapped bananas on a tray (laid with tracing paper).
5. Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
6. Serve warm with ice-cream or syrup.


Brown Sugar Baked Bananas

Servings: 4 baked bananas
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Ready in: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
4 bananas, peeled
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar + 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, mixed
Pinch of salt
Ice-cream or syrup to serve

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C.
2. Place bananas on well-greased baking tray.
3. Brush bananas with melted butter, and then sprinkle lightly with salt.
4. Sprinkle brown sugar + cinnamon mix evenly over bananas.
5. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until tender.
6. Serve warm with ice-cream or syrup.


Honey Baked Bananas

Servings: 4 baked bananas
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Ready in: 10-15 minutes

Ingredients:
4 bananas, peeled
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons orange juice
1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
Ice-cream or syrup to serve

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C.
2. Place bananas on well-greased baking tray.
3. Brush bananas with melted butter.
4. Mix honey with orange juice, and pour over the bananas.
5. Sprinkle with nuts.
6. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until tender.
7. Serve warm with ice-cream or syrup.


Coconut-Lemon Baked Bananas

Servings: 4 baked bananas
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Ready in: 10-15 minutes

Comments: You can replace lemon juice with 2 tablespoons of orange juice.

Ingredients:
4 bananas, peeled
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar + 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, mixed
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
Pinch of salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Ice-cream or syrup to serve

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C.
2. Place bananas on well-greased baking tray.
3. Brush bananas with melted butter, and then sprinkle lightly with salt.
4. Sprinkle sugar + cinnamon mix evenly over bananas.
5. Drizzle lemon juice, and sprinkle with coconut.
6. Bake for 15 minutes, or until tender.
5. Serve warm with ice-cream or syrup.
