Healthy Banana Smoothie Recipes
for Kids





These yummy healthy banana smoothie recipes are super simple to make. And the great thing about it is that it allows your kids to experiment with almost any type of fruits, and they can hardly ever go wrong in taste. Soon, your kids will discover their own favorite “concoction”. To add fun, serve the smoothie with colorful straws and fruit or flower dressings.

Healthy Banana Smoothie Recipes Hot Tips – if the smoothie is too thick, add more milk. If the smoothie is too thin, add more fruits, ice cubes or yoghurt. If the smoothie is too tart, add honey. For a frosty smoothie, use frozen fruits (frozen bananas works best). If you use frozen fruits, then you don't really have to use ice cubes.

Personally for me, the best fruits that go with bananas smoothies are oranges, peaches, strawberries and blueberries. And to make SUPER healthy smoothies, add some wheat germ or flaxseed oil.

Banana Strawberry Blend Smoothie

Servings: 2 cups
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Ready in: 5 minutes

Comments:
You can replace the strawberries with oranges or peaches for a new great tasting smoothie.

Ingredients:
1 banana, cut into pieces
6 large strawberries, frozen or fresh
1 cup milk
1 cup natural yoghurt
1/2 cup ice-cubes

Directions:
1. Blend all ingredients till creamy and serve immediately.


Banana Blueberry Blitz Smoothie

Servings: 2 cups
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Ready in: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
1 banana, cut into pieces
1 cup berries, frozen or fresh
2 cups milk
1/2 cup natural yoghurt
1 cup ice-cubes

Directions:
1. Blend all ingredients till creamy and serve immediately.


Chocolate Banana Frenzy Smoothie

Servings: 2 cups
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Ready in: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
1 1/2 bananas, cut into chunks and frozen
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup or melted chocolate
1 cup milk
1/2 cup natural yoghurt

Directions:
1. Blend all ingredients till creamy and serve immediately.


Creamy Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

Servings: 1 1/2 cups
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Ready in: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
1 frozen banana, cut into chunks and frozen
2 tablespoons peanut butter, creamy
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon honey

Directions:
1. Blend all ingredients till creamy and serve immediately.


Old-Fashioned Plain Banana Smoothie

Servings: 1 cup

Ingredients:
1 banana, cut into pieces
1/2 cup natural yoghurt
1 tbsp honey
1 cup ice-cubes

1/4 cup walnuts, pistachio nuts or cashew nuts
1 cup milk
1 cup natural yoghurt
1/2 cup ice-cubes
